Trip to the lakes and hospital |

An annual outing to Coniston for the majority of three members of Team Penguin and also now the new official fifth member, Jonny's dad, John. Who as mentioned previously has entered the up and coming Strathpuffer 24 solo along with Jonny, while me and Stu pair up because we know solo is just stupid!
Every year we go to help with the Grizedale rally, as well as have more than few beers in the evenings over the weekend and just like last year we again did a ride around Grizedale forest on the Sunday. |

After the GT making some very strange noises over the last few months I decided to finally upgrade to a full sus, the GT will be staying but as my Singlespeed training bike :) |

With only two days remaining before the start of the Relentless24 race in Fort William the team have finally started packing in the hope they have everything they need. The weather forecast however has not been displaying the best of news to say the least! Heavy showers!
This does not seem to put the team off though, because entries for their favourite endurance race Strathpuffer opened again this week for January 2010. This time round the team have had a change of plan, instead of the usual quad entry, Jonny has gone mad and somehow passed his madness onto his dad as they will both be entering solo!! Sean and Stu are not so stupid and have decided to enter as a pair due to Simon unable to attend due to other commitments. So with relentless just around the corner and Strathpuffer only a matter of weeks after, their performance this weekend will give them the opportunity (especially Jonny!) to see how much they need to train in preparation for Strathpuffer. Shame the weather has just started turning miserable and daylight is disappearing faster and faster.
